Are you frustrated by an interior that heats up too quickly in summer? However, do you want to keep the benefits of your bay windows in winter and not completely close your openings in summer? The bioclimatic awning is the solution.
Thanks to adjustable slats, similar to the bioclimatic pergolas in our range, the bioclimatic awning can be adjusted to provide more or less sun protection. It regulates the temperature inside your home to maximise your comfort in summer.
Its evolution for 2025 makes it even easier to install! It’s the sun protection you need to regulate the temperature for years to come.
Brightness control
This canopy with slats that can be adjusted from 0 to 45° is equipped with the same slats as the small Mathilda bioclimatic pergola. It therefore has a robust mechanism and offers optimal protection from the sun’s heat when the slats are closed. In addition, when fitted with the optional waterproof cover, it is connected to the façade for perfect shade.
Manual operation
No electrical connection is required to operate this bioclimatic awning. A crank handle is all that is needed to adjust the desired light intensity. Each module is small in size, making it simple and effortless to use.
Modular over long lengths
The side profiles can be joined together to provide protection along the entire length of a commercial building, for example. Each bioclimatic canopy module is up to 2 metres wide and has a maximum projection of 1.016 metres, depending on the slat spacing. It is available with 4, 5 or 6 slats parallel to the façade.

Dimensions and details
The projection of the canopy is calculated according to the slat pitch of the BSO MATHILDA PBSO63 and its width cannot exceed 2 metres, but it is infinitely adjustable.
