Beautify and secure your property

Aluminium fence kit

Pets or protection against theft are just some of the reasons why people choose to install aluminium fence kits. If, like Mitjavila fences, these kits are also stylish, then you can combine elegance with robustness, adding character to the building they protect.

We offer a range of aluminium fencing models: the Ranch and Brise Vue models. With a wide variety of options (150 or 100 infill, openwork or solid), you are sure to find a configuration that suits your project. We also offer aluminium gates based on the same principle. The advantage? A wide range of colours and easy installation. Several fence models can be configured using the elements available in the kit.

Simplicité et polyvalence sont les deux atouts de notre kit.

Livraison par cartons du kit

The main advantages of our aluminium fence kit:

  • Easy transport: gates, gateways and fences are delivered in cardboard boxes. They are ready to be assembled as soon as they are delivered.
  • Cut on site: All our products come in kits that need to be assembled and screwed together. They are easy to use and can also be cut to length on site.
  • Stock: For professionals, you can store the components and, depending on the configuration (openwork, palisade, etc.), choose the corresponding slats with identical posts.

How high should a fence be?

In France, although the law does not specify a maximum height for fences, they must not cause any abnormal disturbance to neighbours (loss of sight, lack of sunlight). See this guide on the website service-public.fr. Please also ensure that you comply with the rules governing your property in housing estates. Our professional customers will be able to offer you the open or solid aluminium fence kit you need to restrict views and secure your garden. Posts and slats can be cut to size on site using the appropriate tools.

Why choose aluminium over PVC?

  • Can be cut to size on site: another advantage of aluminium fence kits is that they can be easily cut to size on site. All parts are made of aluminium (parts and profiles). The only plastic part in the kit is the piece used to create the space between the slats for an openwork fence.
  • Easy maintenance: the slat and post profiles are powder coated. The powder coating on each post along its entire height, the cast aluminium caps and the aluminium slats are also very easy to maintain.
  • Exceptional resistance: unlike PVC, aluminium is highly resistant to weathering and UV rays. It does not deteriorate. It is also more burglar-proof than PVC fencing, whether you choose to seal it or screw it onto mounting plates, which are also made of aluminium.

Sealing or screwing: which option should you choose?

The aluminium fence kit can be ordered as a ‘cast-in’ or ‘screw-in’ version.

  • To be sealed: If the option to seal is chosen, your posts will be delivered with extra height so that they can be sealed. Depending on the type of slats (privacy screen, RANCH 150 mm or 100 mm), we recommend a depth of 300 mm for sealing up to a height of 1115 mm and 500 mm for greater heights. You will find the recommendations in the catalogues.
  • Screw-mounted: In the ‘screw-mounted’ version, the posts are cut to the correct height so that they can be fixed to the mounting plates provided, which are then screwed into place. Please note that above a certain height (specified in the catalogue), aluminium fences must be sealed.

In addition to the height specified in our instructions, brochures and catalogues, we strongly recommend sealing our aluminium fence kit to ensure it is sufficiently sturdy.
