Whether you want to cover your pergola or another opening, the vertical cassette awning is the ideal solution to protect you from the sun’s rays, as well as light winds and drizzle. The added bonus? It also protects against mosquitoes, those unwelcome guests on a patio. With a cassette, 105 mm or 115 mm depending on the structure to be covered, you are guaranteed to increase everyone’s relaxation time and comfort a hundredfold. Sliding outdoor awnings have a simple and proven system for easy fabric tensioning.
This system locks the front bar so that the fabric can then be tensioned using the torque-limiting motor, ensuring that the fabric remains in the side channels in light winds. In the event of gusts or stronger winds, the fabric must be rolled up.
Retractable side closure
Unlike the “screen” solution, the sliding cassette provides effective protection for the right or left gables of your pergola. Protect yourself from the sun and gain privacy without closing off the space to the outside when you want to enjoy it. At the end of the evening, unroll the vertical awnings on the different sides of your pergola to improve comfort by retaining the heat accumulated during the day, for example.
Sliding fabric
The advantage of our system is its simplicity and reliability. Our systems are always designed to be accessible and durable, and the sliding cassette is no exception to this rule thanks to a simple system that allows fabric that has been dislodged by a gust of wind to be put back in place without compromising the integrity of the system.
Acrylic or micro-perforated fabric
Our cassettes can be ordered by professionals with the frames alone or with fabric included. The screen is blackout thanks to the lateral guidance of the fabric. The choice of fabric will vary according to your needs and the desired aesthetic. In addition to the appearance and degree of blackout desired, UV resistance, tear resistance and fire resistance are all characteristics to compare between micro-perforated and acrylic fabrics. Finally, colour is also very important to add a personal touch to your exterior.

Vertical awnings can be used on loggias and balconies as well as pergolas. They are not just for pergolas.
Here, a 115 side-sliding awning has been installed in a residence to provide protection from the sun when it is at its strongest during the day! The fabric is grey to match the woodwork and comply with the regulations of the building.

To provide greater privacy and protection from the sun (low rays at the beginning and end of the day), no fewer than three 105 sliding cassettes have been added to this Horizon I pergola. The 105 mm cassettes fit perfectly with the feet of the same size on the bioclimatic aluminium pergola.
The micro-perforated fabric allows you to keep a view of the garden. The terrace is also protected from very light breezes that would cool it down too quickly at the end of the day.

Three large 115 cassettes were positioned on these three fabric pergolas to provide welcome shade from the sun on this south-west facing terrace. Fully integrated into the structure of our fabric pergola, they remain attractive and provide additional comfort.
